If you have a complaint or concern about safety or your rights as a patient or visitor, we are committed to resolving this satisfactorily, promptly and at the first level of contact whenever possible. If you have a concern, we encourage you to share this with a member of your healthcare team, physician or clinic manager. They will gather information, follow up with the appropriate individuals or departments and attempt to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
If you are unable to resolve your concerns through this process or would like assistance, you may contact one of our Clinic Ambassadors. The Clinic Ambassador will discuss your concerns or complaint and facilitate communication between you and the appropriate individuals.
If you feel your concern has not been resolved, you may file a grievance through The Emory Clinic Office of Patient & Guest Services. You will receive a written response to the formal grievance.
Although we believe that most, if not all, concerns can be resolved through this process, if at any time you feel you need additional assistance, you may contact the Joint Commission of Accrediation of Healthcare Organizations on their toll free patient line: 1-800-994-6610, or email: complaint@jcaho.org
