The Emory Clinic is a physician practice of more than 980 specialists, sub-specialists and primary care physicians who care for patients at one of our many clinics, hospitals and affiliates throughout the Metro Atlanta area. We recently celebrated 50 years of service to the community and, through those years, our physicians and surgeons have been responsible for some of the most significant innovations and treatments in health care.

Our specialty centers and programs are leaders in the nation including:

  • The Emory Heart & Vascular Center, consistently voted in the top ten in the country according to U.S. News and World Report and renowned for many innovations. Emory cardiologists were involved with the development of the first angioplasty and a revolutionary procedure to repair babies' hearts.
  • The Emory Winship Cancer Institute, a leader in cancer care for more than 60 years including clinical cancer treatment programs and both laboratory and clinical research.
  • The Emory Transplant Center, since its first, a corneal in 1947, Emory has performed hundreds of transplants, including 250 heart and the first living-related liver transplant in Georgia. Transplant centers also include kidney, pancreas and lung.
  • Emory Neurology, an Emory neurologist developed a major breakthrough brain mapping system to aid surgery to treat Parkinson's Disease.
  • The Emory Eye Center, the only center in Georgia consistently ranked among the nation's top 20 according to U.S. News and World Report. Our ocular specialists treat more than 70,000 patients each year.
  • Emory Orthopaedics and The Spine Center, one of our surgeons helped pioneer a breakthrough technique to treat a fractured spine from the chest rather than the back.
For a complete list of services and treatment available through The Emory Clinic, go to the Departments and Services section of the website.

Our multi-specialty and primary care services are available at over 10 centers throughout the Atlanta region. Please click on the site for more information about services at each center, clinic hours and directions.

The Emory Clinic physicians admit patients primarily to Emory University Hospital, Emory Crawford Long Hospital and other Emory regional affiliated hospitals. In some instances, Emory physicians also admit patients to the VA Medical Center.
