About Dr. Garcia Santibanez

Dr. Garcia Santibanez received her MD at Universidad Catolica de Santiago de Guayaquil (Guayaquil, Ecuador) in 2009. She completed her Neurology residency in Mount Sinai Beth Israel (NYC) where she was also the Chief Resident. After residency, she completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology with emphasis in Neuromuscular Disorders (Emory University 2015-2016) followed by a fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine and Clinical Neuromuscular Pathology (Washington University in St. Louis 2016-2017).

She is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. She has subspecialty board certifications in Electrodiagnostic Medicine by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and in Clinical Neuromuscular Pathology by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties.
