About Dr. Shockley

I am the only fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic surgeon at Emory. I have the ability to treat big problems and large pathology (fibroids, cysts, endometriosis, etc.) with tiny incisions. Almost all women will be discharged home the same day, which is truly remarkable! Minimally invasive gynecology is constantly on the cutting edge to improve patient's lives with rapid recovery, and I am excited to provide access to these surgeries for women in Atlanta.

My Clinical Interests

  • cervical dysplasia
  • endometriosis
  • fibroids
  • hysterectomy
  • laparoscopic surgery
  • ovarian cysts
  • pelvic pain
  • robotic surgery
