Interventional Radiology and Image-Guided Medicine

Our primary mission in Emory Radiology's division of Interventional Radiology & Image-Guided Medicine is to provide safe, effective and most-advanced minimally invasive treatments to our patients. We provide cutting-edge treatments to patients with peripheral vascular disease, vascular malformation, venous disease such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), varicose veins and dialysis-related, malignant tumors such as liver, kidney, lung, and bone and benign tumors like uterine fibroids.

We work closely with all of our referral physicians. Our talented faculty members are leaders in our field, and serve our patients from the initial evaluation to treatment then to assessment with personalized care. Our clinical activities are supplemented by innovative research, particularly in solid tumor treatments with embolotherapies, radioembolizations and thermoablations and venous diseases with thrombectomy, thrombolysis and laser.
