Volunteer Opportunities at Wesley Woods Towers
Wesley Woods Towers is an independent living retirement community with many wonderful residents and volunteer opportunities.
Computer Lab:
Help residents get on line, surf the net and check e-mail. Watch their expression as they download a picture of a newborn great grandchild for the first time.
Time: Monday - Friday; Flexible
Food & Nutrition:
Assist staff with serving meals, table set up, cleaning, food pep, and other general tasks
Time: Monday - Sunday; 10 A.M. - 3 P.M.

Bingo:
Bingo is a serious game at Wesley Woods Center. We have all the prizes and equipment, all you need is a loud voice. Watch the fun.
Time: Every other Tuesday & Saturday; 6 P.M. - 8 P.M.
Pet Therapy:
Do you have an adorable dog or cat? It’s very easy to have them certified as a therapy pet. Our residents miss the pets they once had. A pet visit works wonders for our residents, you and your pet as well. Most visits are one on one.
Time: Monday - Sunday; Flexible
Garden Assistant:
Help the resident’s with their garden. Some planting and watering.
Time: Schedule with Activities Coordinator
Manicures:
Great way to get some “one to one”. File and polish only. Don’t forget the lotion hand rub. This is very popular and lots of fun.(This is only available on the 2nd floor)

Ceramics Assistant:
Lead and teach a ceramics class showing residents how to create and paint their ceramic projects.
Time: Mondays or Wednesdays; 2 P.M. - 5 P.M. or Tuesdays; 10 A.M. - 12 P.M.
