The Epworth Sleepiness Scale is used to determine your level of daytime sleepiness. Use the following scale to choose the most appropriate number for each situation. |

0 = no chance of dozing or sleeping |
2 = moderate chance of dozing or sleeping |

1 = slight chance of dozing or sleeping |
3 = high chance of dozing or sleeping |

What does your score mean?
If you scored 10 or more, take steps to improve your sleep. Ask your primary care physician for advice, or a referral to a physician who specializes in sleep medicine. Sleep disorder specialists help an estimated 80-90% of their patients get better sleep.
