S. Tim Yoon S. Tim Yoon, MD, PhD, is associate professor of orthopedic surgery. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Yoon started practicing at Emory in 2000.

What Makes Dr. Yoon a Standout

Dr. Yoon won the MIT robotic competition while an undergraduate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, he completed a spine fellowship with Dr. Howard An and Dr. Ronald DeWald. Dr. Yoon is an active researcher, specializing in gene therapy for disc disease.
