Insurance
Emory Sports Medicine accepts most insurance plans. Please bring your insurance card with you to your appointments. Payment for services is due at the time services are rendered.
We accept any of the following payment methods:
- Cash
- Personal Check
- All Major Credit Cards
Third-Party Insurance
As a courtesy, we will submit a claim for you to any third-party insurance carrier with whom Emory Healthcare has a contract. Please call 404-778-3350 in advance of your appointment so that we may determine if your insurance carrier has contracted with us. You will be responsible for any charges not covered by your carrier. If you prefer to file yourself, we will provide the paperwork necessary for reimbursement and request payment at the time of the appointment.
Managed Care
If you are covered by a managed care insurance plan, we request co-pays and deductibles at the time of the appointment.
Physical Therapy Coverage
Emory Sports Medicine accepts most major insurance carriers for Physical Therapy Services except Medicaid and Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO and POS. Please bring your insurance card with you to your appointments as well as a physical therapy prescription from your physician. Payment for services is due at the time services are rendered.
