Should You Make an Appointment with a Sports Medicine Physician?

Have you had an MRI that confirmed you have torn your ACL and you are looking for a surgeon or would like a surgical second opinion before having your procedure?

Have you suffered an injury to your knee in which you planted your foot, heard or felt a pop in your knee, and had the sensation of your knee sliding out of place?

After the injury, were you unable to return to your sport or recreational activity immediately?

Did you have swelling and soreness in your knee the next day?

Were you seen in the ER or told by a doctor that you had a knee sprain, but are still having difficulty with your knee?

Once your knee felt better, did it still feel unstable, or "slide out" when you tried to return to sports, recreation activity or making sudden turns?
