Wrist, Hand, and Upper Extremity Injuries

Our wrists, hands and fingers are intricate collections of muscles and joints that we put to use in hundreds of ways, every day. But we often never fully appreciate how much we use them – until we've suffered an injury or painful condition in the area.

Emory Sports Medicine offers some of the most advanced treatments for conditions of the hands, fingers, wrists and arms. Our physicians are orthopedic surgeons with fellowship training or board certification in hand and upper extremity orthopedics. In addition, our hand therapy is provided by certified occupational therapists.

We treat the following wrist and hand conditions:

  • Fractures
  • Sprains
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Arthritis
  • Congenital abnormalities

An individualized treatment plan is developed for each patient to prevent dysfunction, restore function, or reverse the advancement of disease. For more information on treatments we offer, visit our Procedures page for Wrist and Hand.
