Why Choose Emory?
The Emory Adult Congenital Heart (EACH) Center is an internationally recognized cardiology service that specializes in the care of adults with congenital heart defects (CHDs). The EACH Center, the only adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) center in the state of Georgia, is one of the largest programs in the country.
The Center employs a multidisciplinary approach to provide comprehensive management services for adults with CHDs. Our team includes both adult and pediatric cardiologists, congenital cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers and echocardiographers. We also work with collaborative partners from a broad range of specialties throughout Emory Healthcare who have a particular interest and expertise in managing adults with CHDs.
Our ultimate goal is to help patients manage their conditions and live active, healthy lives.
Services we provide include:
- Medical management of moderate to complex CHDs
- Congenital cardiac surgery
- Management of late complications of a diverse group of CHDs
- Diagnosis and management of pulmonary hypertension associated with CHDs
- Management of congenital cardiac conditions in pregnancy
