Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile dysfunction (ED) refers to a man's inability to obtain and maintain an adequate erection for sexual activity. Most men occasionally experience ED, which is normal. However, ED is more common in older men but can affect men at any age. Learn more >>
Elevated PSA
PSA, or prostate specific antigen, is a protein secreted by normal prostate tissue glands, primarily into the ejaculate fluid, with a small amount measured in the blood. Any inflammatory process, acute injury, benign enlargement, or prostate cancer may elevate the PSA. Learn more >>
Enlarged Prostate
Enlarged prostate, or benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), is the noncancerous enlargement of the prostate gland surrounding the urethral passage between the bladder and penis. BPH or enlarged prostate is common in men over the age of 50, but usually does not cause any major problems. Learn more >>
Peyronie's Disease
Peyronie’s Disease occurs when there is abnormal scar tissue formation in the “covering layer” of the penis (the tunica albuginea). This scar tissue deposition causes contraction of the penile tissue and may cause penile curvature. Learn more >>
Varicocele
Varicoceles are an abnormal dilation of the veins to the testes. Up to 15% of men will have a varicocele, but not all men will have problems from their varicoceles. However, when they cause problems, varicoceles can cause testicular pain, male factor infertility, and low testosterone. Learn more >>
Low Testosterone
Testosterone is often considered one of the most important male hormones. It is known to decline with age. Symptoms of low energy, low libido, poor erections, decreased muscle mass and forgetfulness can be suggestive of low testosterone. Learn more >>
Male Factor Infertility
Up to 15% of couples will report infertility. Of the 15%, up to 30-40% of infertile couples have a contributing male factor, and identification and medical treatment of these men may lead to better reproductive outcomes. Learn more >>
