Emory Department of Urology's medical team includes board-certified physicians who respond quickly to urgent and non-urgent urological needs for both men and women. We offer comprehensive urology services including minimally invasive treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostate cancer and kidney stones.
Daniel Canter, MD

Dr. Canter earned his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania and conducted his fellowship at the Fox Chase Cancer Center both located in Philadelphia. Dr. Canter recently joined Emory in July 2011.

Dr. Carney earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He conducted fellowships at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York and at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Carney began practicing at Emory in 2001. His areas of clinical interest include penile cancer, Peyronie's disease, bladder cancer/tumors, prostate cancer, urethral strictures, and urinary diversion.

Dr. Galloway earned his medical degree from Aberdeen University Medical School in Edinburgh, Scotland and completed his residency at Royal United Hospital in Bath, England. He conducted his fellowship at Duke University Hospital. Dr. Galloway began practicing at Emory in 1988. His areas of clinical interest include neurogenic dysfunction, rectocele repair, urethral strictures, urinary diversion, urinary incontinence, uterine prolapse, and vaginal vault prolapse.
Wayland Hsiao, MD

Dr. Hsiao earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his residency at the Emory University School of Medicine. He conducted his fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. Dr. Hsiao recently joined the practice in July 2011. His areas of clinical interest include Peyronie's disease, impotence, infertility, penile implantation, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, varicocele, vasectomy and vasectomy reversal.
