Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery

Emory Gynecology and Obstetrics offers comprehensive evaluation, management, and treatment options for female urinary and pelvic floor dysfunctions. Our physicians provide specialized expertise in the treatment of women with pelvic floor disorders that include:

  • Urinary Incontinence
  • Voiding (bladder emptying) Dysfunction
  • Fecal Incontinence or Bowel Disorders
  • Vaginal or Uterine Prolapse
  • Genitourinary Fistulas

The problems associated with these conditions often the result of childbirth or aging can be embarrassing, but they don't need to be endured in silence. We focus on improving a patient’s quality of life with the treatment plan that is right for her, with options that include behavioral therapy, medication, pessaries, sacral neuromodulation, and surgery. We are also skilled in the management of patients with complications from prior reconstructive surgeries.
