  • Emory Liver Transplant Program ranks among the top centers in the nation for adult liver transplant volume, performing more than 2,700 liver transplant surgeries to date.

Time to Transplant

  • Of our transplanted patients in 2020, 52% received a liver transplant within one month of listing, and 85% of transplanted patients received a liver within six months of being on the wait list.

Survival Outcomes

  • Our transplanted patients’ MELD scores are higher than the national average, yet we continue to provide top-ranked quality outcomes – including a one-year patient survival rate of 96%.

  • Emory’s risk-adjusted one-year patient and graft survival rates for liver transplant are higher than the national rates at 96.41% and 94.89%.
