Oral Cavity, Throat and Larynx

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for oral cavity, throat and laryngeal disorders including: dry mouth, burning mouth, inflammatory pharyngitis, tonsillitis, tonsillar absecess, paratonsillar abcess, adenoiditis, adenoid and tonsillar hypertrophy, hoarseness, laryngitis, vocal cord paralysis, spasmodic dysphonia, laryngeal papilloma, stridor, laryngeal reflux disease, subglottic stenosis, tracheal stenosis, and malignant lesions of tongue, lip, tonsils, pharynx, hypopharynx, nasopharynx and larynx (voice box).

The Department offers numerous procedures including: tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, release of tongue tie, multimodality treatment of malignancies of tongue, mouth, pharynx, and larynx, radical neck dissection, reconstruction of paralyzed larynx and botulinum toxin (BoTox).
