About Dr. Flynn

Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Flynn joined the Emory Transplant Center in 2018, and serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Boston University, and completed her residency at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Dr. Flynn then completed clinical fellowships in both Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology at the Emory University School of Medicine, and joined the practice following completion.

Dr. Flynn’s clinical interests include non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, alcohol related liver disease, end-stage liver disease and acute liver failure. She also has a particular interest in quality improvement. Dr. Flynn is an active member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American College of Physicians.
