About Dr. Hoque

Dr. Hoque is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Emory University School of Medicine, and serves as Medical Director of the Emory Sleep Laboratory.  He graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and subsequently competed neurology residency at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine, Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, and Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine.  He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in five areas: Neurology, Sleep Medicine, Epilepsy, Neuromuscular Medicine, and Clinical Neurophysiology.  Dr. Hoque has been elected fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and president of the Georgia Association of Sleep Professionals.  He serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine, for which he received the Stuart Quan Award for Editorial Excellence.  Dr. Hoque's research and academic interests span all areas of sleep medicine.
