These exercises will guide you from 3 months until 8 months post surgery. It is vital to faithfully adhere to the following program to avoid re-injury to the ACL reconstruction. Having a physical therapist or certified athletic trainer to help guide you through this program is often helpful.

Months 4-5: Agility Phase

Agility Training

Agility Drills 4-5 months3-4 times a week

• Four Corners
• T-Drills

Agilty is meant to get you back to running and feeling comfortable on your feet with sport in mind. This is the time to focus on moving in two planes, forward and back and side to side. We do not want to impliment any "cutting" or "pivoting" on your reconstructed knee. Advance as tolerated and continue to work on foot speed.

Now some fun starts but remember to keep only moving forward and back and side to side. No pivoting yet.
