Transform Your Life with Free, Confidential Treatment

The Atlanta Falcons and Emory Healthcare, the official team healthcare provider of the Falcons, encourage military appreciation through the Salute to Service effort.

If you are a post-9/11 veteran or service member struggling with invisible wounds such as PTSD, traumatic brain injury (TBI), military sexual trauma (MST), depression, or anxiety, the Emory Healthcare Veterans Program is here to help. We offer confidential care for post-9/11 veterans and service members, regardless of location, discharge status, deployment history, or length of service - at no cost to the warrior or their family.

Although you may feel as if no one will understand what they’re dealing with, our team is made up of kind and compassionate professionals who specialize in treating veterans and service members. They understand and they’re here to help.

Common Symptoms of Invisible Wounds

  • Nightmares, trouble sleeping
  • Flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, or images
  • Strong startle reactions
  • Problems with anger
  • Constantly feeling overly alert or on edge
  • Avoidance of crowds, social gatherings, driving in traffic, or other potential triggers
  • Anxiety or panic attacks

How We Treat Invisible Wounds

Our confidential Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is evidence-based and can be completed in person at our clinic in Atlanta, Georgia, or via telehealth in participating states. This two-week program reduces symptoms, promotes health and well-being, and improves relationships and social functioning. You will receive as much therapy in two weeks as you would typically get in a year, learn about yoga, medications, sleep and wellness, healthy coping skills, and communication techniques - especially with regard to partners, family, and friends.

Treatment is customized for each individual and centered around their specific circumstances and goals. We also offer a traditional outpatient program for those who are not able to take two weeks off to participate in the IOP.
