Sports Cardiology Program

Sport Cardiology Program Overview

Athletes have unique needs. Whether you’re a high school football player, a weekend warrior, or a professional basketball player, we know optimal cardiovascular health is vital to your performance and, in some cases, your ability to participate.

"I always have someone's number I can call".

With that in mind, we’re proud to bring the first cardiology practice focused on Sports Cardiology to Atlanta. Our Sports Cardiology program is dedicated to working with athletes of all ages and levels — from weekend warriors to professional athletes — to evaluate, diagnose, and treat athletes at risk for or have been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease.

Atlanta Falcons player, Kaleb McGary details his journey of tackling his heart issues at Emory Healthcare.
