After filling out the registration form, we will contact you and request your medical records. All medical records MUST be translated into English by a professional medical translator. Failure to provide these records may delay treatment. Please contact us and we can recommend medical translation services. Patients need to provide all medical records relevant to their current diagnosis. These records may include:

  • History and Physical
  • Provider Office Notes
  • Consultation Notes
  • Operative Notes
  • Discharge Summaries
  • Laboratory Reports
  • Pathology Reports

In some cases, patients may be asked to mail these materials to Emory Healthcare before their arrival. If this is indicated, please mail materials with a tracking number to:

Step 3 – Estimate and Deposit

Our office will work with the clinical staff to complete an estimate of the patient's cost for their visit & plan of treatment. We will review the estimate with the patient and will provide information on how to submit payment.

Step 4 – Appointment Confirmation

Once the records have been reviewed and a deposit has been collected, an appointment will be scheduled and an appointment letter will be generated. The letter will provide the location, doctor's name, date and time of the patient's appointment.

Note: The appointment letter can be used by the patient to complete their visa application.

Step 5 – Travel Arrangements

The patient is responsible for their own travel arrangements but we are happy to help with recommendations.

Note: We recommend that you do not schedule a flight until an itinerary has been sent to you.
