MyChart Patient Portal
Important Update
MyChart: Your Easy-To-Use Patient Portal
Emory Healthcare offers MyChart, a secure online portal. MyChart is how we provide you with quick access to the health information you need.
Our goal is to help you manage your care in one place and improve your overall health care experience.
Key Features of MyChart
MyChart enables patients to:
- Access Medical Records: You can view your health history, test results, immunizations, medications, and visit summaries.
- Appointment Management: You can schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and receive reminders.
- Communicate with Your Care Team: You can securely message your health care providers with questions and send information and images. You can also get a self-service estimate of your bill.
- Pay Bills and Handle Financial Matters: You can view and pay bills, ask billing questions, and keep a credit card on file. You can also get a self-service estimate of your bill and message billing staff to get estimates of your out-of-pocket costs. Additionally, you can complete forms for financial assistance and set up payment plans.
Electronic Health Records
Emory Healthcare transitioned to using Epic on October 1, 2022. Epic is our electronic health records system, which includes your MyChart patient portal. We moved all previous patient portals—Blue, Gold, HealtheLife, Eye Center, and Emory Decatur—into a single, easy-to-use system.
You will need to create an account for the Emory Healthcare MyChart patient portal. You’ll need to sign up even if you use MyChart at another health system or provider practice.
Signing up for an account is easy. In most cases, it takes only a few minutes.
How To Sign Up For MyChart
We offer three ways to get help with registration or using MyChart:
1. Online Registration
2. In-Person Assistance: Ask for help during your visit to any Emory Healthcare facility.
3. Remote Support: First, read through the MyChart FAQs.
If you need additional help, call MyChart Support at 404-727-8820 or email mychart.support@emoryhealthcare.org.

A Better Billing Experience
The MyChart patient portal offers a better billing experience. You can view your bills, ask questions, and make payments all in one place. Key features include:
- Detailed Billing Information: View itemized bills and payment history
- Financial Assistance: Apply for financial assistance and upload necessary documents
- Payment Plans: Set up and manage payment plans for your healthcare expenses
While transitioning to this centralized system, bills from specific departments or third-party providers may not appear in MyChart. You may receive comprehensive billing information through traditional mail. You may also find it in your MyChart patient portal.
