Emory Epilepsy Center
Welcome to the Epilepsy Center
Living with a chronic condition such as epilepsy can affect not only you, but your family and loved ones. The Emory Epilepsy Center is committed to providing care to those affected by epilepsy as a certified Level 4 Epilepsy Center, offering the most complex forms of care along with the highest level of supporting services.
The Epilepsy Center staff sees over 8,500 patients each year from around the nation for consultation and treatment. Our complete range of services includes outpatient consultations, ongoing epilepsy management, inpatient diagnostic and presurgical electroencephalography (EEG), and a robust surgical program (including minimally-invasive techniques). In addition, our neuropsychologists work with patients to manage the unique emotional and psychological stresses that are often the byproduct of seizure disorders.
The Emory Epilepsy Center is recognized for its clinical trials program, which strives to find new answers to the causes of epilepsy, as well as new treatments that will improve the lives of patients with the disorder.
