The Interventional Pulmonology Program is a founding member of the Multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology Clinic (TOTAL: Thoracic Oncology Treatment and Long Term Care Clinic). Patients are evaluated and managed in a multidisciplinary approach with the involvement of our colleagues in Thoracic Surgery, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology. Treatment plans are individualized based on patient needs with the most advanced care possible.

Innovative Procedures for Benign Airway Disease

  • Trans-Tracheal Oxygen (TTO) Catheter Placement
  • Endoscopic Lung Volume Reduction for COPD
  • Bronchial Thermoplasty for Severe Asthma - This procedure is used for patients with asthma that is refractory to traditional medical therapies.
