At Emory Hillandale Hospital’s Sleep Disorders Center, we provide a comprehensive approach to diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. A range of non-invasive sleep studies is available to identify your specific chronic sleep disorder and develop the proper sleep disorder solution. The studies are conducted at our Sleep Disorders Center in a homelike atmosphere designed to help patients feel as comfortable as possible during their sleep evaluation.
Experienced, specially trained physicians interpret the results and help you and your physician determine if you have a sleep disorder, what type of disorder you may have, and the best sleep disorder treatment for your condition.
Sleep disorder solutions can range from lifestyle and diet changes, to the use of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), or in severe cases, surgery. The key to successful treatment is to properly diagnose a chronic sleep disorder.
The most common problems diagnosed and treated at our centers are:
- Sleep apnea
- Restless leg syndrome
- Narcolepsy
- Excessive daytime somnolence
- Sleepwalking/talking/eating
Our Sleep Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
