Computerized Neuropsychological Testing

Emory Sports Medicine uses the same treatments for concussions offered by the NFL and NHL.

Computerized neuropsychological testing (CNS) involves a battery of computerized cognitive tests to objectively assess cognitive function. Baseline CNS is often performed on athletes in contact sports, at the beginning of each season, to provide a comparison for later assessment in the case of a concussion or other injury that causes trauma to the brain.
