The orthopedic doctors at Emory provide treatment for all head injuries, with a specialization in sports concussions. We were the first sports medicine team in Atlanta to provide Computerized Neuropsychological Testing (CNT) for athletic programs – the same concussion treatment plan that is used by professional teams in the NFL and NHL.

Physiatrists Are the First Step in the Spine Treatment Process. At the Emory Orthpaedics & Spine Center in Atlanta, our physiatrists (physicians trained in physical medicine and rehabilitation) specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of acute back and neck pain and injuries. More than 90% of spine cases are resolved through non-operative treatment.
