Dr. Nidhi Khanna, DO is a General Surgeon, board certified by the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. Dr. Khanna received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. She completed her residency at Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. During residency, she earned a Letter of Commendation and was honored with the Resident Teaching Award. She earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. Dr. Khanna is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Khanna is skilled in performing a wide variety of general surgical procedures. This includes but is not limited to surgery for gallbladder disease, hernias, skin and soft tissue masses, small and large bowel diseases, wounds, peritoneal dialysis, port placement, etc. She is most passionate about providing high quality surgical care to her patients while using the latest surgical technology. Dr. Khanna focuses on providing minimally invasive techniques including laparoscopic and robotic surgery when appropriate. This often minimizes post operative pain, quickens recovery, and allows surgery to be performed through small incisions. It is her individualized attention and dedication to each patient that adds to Dr. Khanna’s success in patient care excellence.
