I absolutely loved my medical team, I truly feel blessed with the people that was surrounding me, Dr Rhee I was so blessed to have and please forgive me I cannot remember his surgical assistance name she was the most lovely lady in the world whenever I hear Taylor Swift I will always think of her and the fact that you guys let me choose a song to go under to was so touching! So many Little things that happened made the process so much easier

Every individual staff member exhibited the training and desire to make sure I knew that my comfort and ease was important to them.
The reason for my visit was a second opinion and Dr. Rhee made it worth it. He had a different opinion about my need for surgery whereas a previous surgeon in our area was ready to operate. We went away confident in our choice to come up to Emory for a second opinion.
Surprisingly Dr. Rhee was detailed on options for my problem surgical and non surgical. My visit with 1st visit a Neurosurgeon at Emory did not consider surgery as an option. Dr. Rhee was amazing!
No bedside manner. After dx, he did not see me in recovery but sent another. He did talk to family members. I have never experienced this after surgeries/procedures and have had 4 knee sxs, 1 breast biopsy, 2 C-sections, 2 colonoscopies

I've had multiple wrong diagnoses since my back injury in April. I felt my own thoughts about the problem were probably the right ones. Dr. Rhee and his resident were the first providers I saw that did the sort of range of motion and muscle/nerve interaction on legs and feet, and provided me a diagnosis that was both hopeful and if not resolved, ideas for future treatment to alleviate pain. Confirmed no surgery needed (at least at this time).
