We went for a second opinion and to better understand the possible treatment options. The doctor was incredibly kind and genuinely invested in our situation. He explained each option in a way that was easy to understand, reassured us about the expected response time, and referred us to an MDC to help determine the best treatment for me. The experience was so positive that we are even considering switching to Emory for the potential treatment, even though it would mean driving an hour and a half to the hospital.

Dr. Bradley Carthon, was a breath of fresh relief regarding my Interactions with my former oncologist at City of Hope. Dr. Carthon was patient. He listened. He addressed my concerns. Most Importantly, he made me feel good about my decision to move care to Emory Winship.

Dr. CARTHON is the absolute Best! Cannot say enough about him as my provider for the past 5 years. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, He is Kind. He has never left the room without me completely understanding the path ahead.. Even when the news was bad, his words were comforting and gave me confidence. He goes above and beyond, and I am 4 yrs NED because of his efforts. He didnt stop at the general standard of care for people with my type of cancer. He research and found the best care for me. Besides being a great Dr. He is a Great person. I am so grateful for him and his team.
