Everyone I know is satisfied with their doctors.

The appointment felt surface level and I thought there would be more discussion and elements to the physical.

Dr Cross was patient and collaborative. He listened to my concerns and had read my medical history in my Emory records prior to meeting with me. He explained my symptoms and offered supportive recommendations.

Md spent more time with the computer than actually examining me, listened to my heart briefly and that was the only contact with my body. I mentioned that I was developing painful gynecomastia and asked if he would examine my breasts and he declined. I am a surgeon myself and am used to actually examining my patients I know you have to check boxes on the computer to get paid but that doesn't preclude a physical examination in my opinion

Can't say enough great things about Dr. Cross. He is always on schedule, takes the time to review the health history while also staying engaged with the patient, and is thorough but efficient in his examinations. Throughout my visits with him he clearly explains options for care that he is considering and the reasoning for the conclusions he reaches and the care plan.

I was there for my annual physical. From the time the nurse put me in an exam room and took vital signs until I left after giving blood, I was there for no more than 40 minutes. It was the least attentive physical I have ever had through Emory. It seemed like a 6 month recheck vs an actual physical. I will be changing primary care physicians.

Highly recommended.

4 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-12-07

Dr. Cross was responsive to my comments and questions. He does not appear interested until he is drawn out. I understand this common cold/cough is not a big deal and that it still has no "cure". But I was well into week 3. We discussed why antibiotics etc. Clinically, I found him totally capable and on point. I just wondered if his manner and distance is how he normally meets patients and interacts. If so, I can't see that working for many patients. I wondered if he himself was dealing with an issue.

Feel as tho the doctor was just trying to finish the visit. Did not like explanation of my problem. Prescribe drugs had been taking that were not helping. Still have the same problem. No help

I was there for a physical. I feel like he didn't do a physical. We were in and out in about 15 minutes. I will be looking for another primary Dr. Dr Collins was very good and took her time. I feel like I was rushed out.

This physician was very off hand about doing an actual physical. He encouraged me not to see the specialists I see for certain conditions. He also criticized my previous se for being too thorough. I will be looking for a new Dr.

Initial "well-check" visit to establish baseline and update labs

3 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-03-31

Super nice and conversational, but I had no idea what he was doing. He'd make statements without questions then expecting an answer from me about something... The entire conversation felt random. I came for a annual check up and didn't feel like any processes was followed as far as things to check. I needed to proactively ask to get my ears and heart checked as well as have my labs done (which was almost closed for the day by the time it came up in conversation). Thankfully he did really try to convince them to get my blood drawn. Again super nice, but thankfully there was nothing actually wrong with me or that experience would've been terrible. I will not plan to go back.

Wow what a great doc. He was laid back and easy going. Maked asking questions easy. I've been to doctors before that were so stiff and unapproachable that you kinda just didn't want to bring things up. This was totally the opposite. I'd feel comfortable asking him anything. Really seemed like he enjoyed being a doctor and liked helping people get good medical information. A+ doctor
