Dr. Wagner is amazing! He spent as much time with me as I needed to address all my concerns and questions. He sits down when he comes in the room and doesn't act like he's in a hurry at all. His sense of humor is great.

The doctor was straightforward. I would have liked for him to let me experience my hip discomfort by having me walk while holding my hip at the socket area of my back while walking. I did that while taking my two-mile walk this morning. Only then was I able to feel the bone pushing against the socket. I didn't get that sensation while lying on my back with him pushing my bent leg into positions. That may be the gold Teaching standard, but it didn't work at helping me really figure out the issue in my case.

Had to ask for my x-rays I think it should've been provided when discussing the next steps and treatmentsI.could have asked more questions about the pros and con of treatment will do so next time

Dr Wagner is outstanding

I had to ask follow up questions about my area of concern. He was more interested in something else he saw on my X-ray than the issue I was there for. I felt like my initial issue was boring and easy to fix. The "thing" he saw in my X-ray would generate more money with some expensive additional imaging and "follow up" as a precaution when I have no symptoms.

He check the amount that was injected in the back via the chart and decided to delay. I have to ask questions, not that I mind. It would be nice if the Dr showed interest in suggesting alternatives in procedures and medications. Just because a Rx is prescribed doesn't necessarily mean it will suite the patient due to side effects. And if I make a suggestion to an alternative Rx thst I know will work for me, I shouldn't get a negative reply from staff as to why it shouldn't be prescribed.

Great clinician, but him being so late made me not want to come back

Getting pain meds have been a devistating problem. I feel the provude failed at responding properly to the level of pain I have been experiencing, leaving me sleeping upright in chairs because of chest pains. Everybody dont have addiction problems. Why should we suffer!!!!

I was treated at a different highly rated orthopedic group in western NC for 14 months and saw 4 different physicians. None of them diagnosed my condition. Dr. Wagner reviewed my records, asked me questions and compared my problem ankle to my good ankle and immediately diagnosed my issue.

Dr. Wagner does not communicate well. To get any information, I had to ask a lot of questions. I am very concerned about my knee but I didn't see that level of concern from him. I then read the notes he put in MyChart. He said we discussed many options but we did not. I was given one option for treatment and that's what I received. Nothing else was discussed nor were other options brought up that might be discussed next visit.

Dr Wagner is very on his game and refreshing to have a physician that is motivated to relieve your pain in a compassionate empathetic way. He sets a standard of care that others should strive to achieve! I let him do in office injections that went extremely painlessly ! He is very calming and easy. Five stars for sure!

GENUINELY CARES

Excellent visit from start to finish. Dr. Wagner got right to the point re X-rays and treatment.Injection given was 100% effective within 24 hrs.

Dr. Does not talk about other concerns, ie my lower back.

Dr. Wagner was excellent. He went over my x-rays in great detail. He discussed next steps. Assured me if/when I needed him I could send my message through the portal or let my physical therapist know and he would get me right in. Very reassuring!

Dr. Wagner has been a great doctor and person and has tried to help me work through my medical plan for my knee. I really like this doctor. He is smart and compassionate!

Once he realized I would not get any treatments like gel or anti inflamtories for my knees, he decided I was not a viable consumer and the rest of the appointment and advice whent downhill!

I was concerned about pain and it wasn't addressed. My pain meds were getting low and I was worried about the pain would be without them. As a black female, I felt like my pain wasn't being considered. It's like we have to beg for some pain relief. My arm obviously would start hurting without meds while expecting to perform daily activities including typing for work. I've been in pain since I took off the brace and have trouble sleeping.

My experience with Dr. Wagner's assistant was good. He was respectful, knowledgeable and attentive. However, Dr. Wagner spent very little time with me and appeared rushed. I did not feel as though I was a priority as a patient.

Dr Wagner was very nice thorough in his explanations, etc. He showed me the X-rays, gave me options & I was very satisfied.

Dr. Wagner gave me 2 options: Either do the A2M the following week or get a knee replacement. When I asked him to drain my knee, which is what I had come for, he refused and said he would do it the following week when he did the A2M treatment.
