He delivered stressful information while perfectly creating a calm and non-stressful environment. He was thorough and left no question unanswered or topic unaddressed. I was pretty disappointed in the doctor. He seemed confrontational, made me feel stupid when I ask questions, was borderline rude, and his presentation of my case seemed disorganized. For example, when I first entered the room, he started immediately talking about test results, but then done didn't go back to the diagnosis like he didn't begin at the beginning. When I asked if he could begin and just talk to me about my diagnosis he simply asked if I had any questions. It was very bizarre.

He is available for any questions later via my chart or in person . Which was a good thing

Four months of stress and anxiety of having piecemeal imaging, additional imaging, additional imaging with biopsy and being frustrated with the fast pace of a ten minute oncology appointment with my former doctor at a different hospital system to press the options selected for me instead of with me has changed my course. This is my second breast cancer in 6 1/2 years. I couldn't have been treated with more consideration and professional care than Emory. It reinforced that a second opinion was the right choice for me. Thank you.
