Dr. Steed was very thorough in discussing my condition and explained things in a way that I could easily understand and made recommendations as to what I should be doing going forward. Additionally, I asked her for and order to discontinue oxygen tanks that I was no longer using. She assured me that she would do it but because it was very late in the day on Fridy advised that she might not be able to get to It until the following week. I got a call from the oxygen company later that evening letting me knw that it had already been done! Also, Dr. Steed sends timely email messages to me explaining Impact of test results and responds promptly to emails to her. I have not had this done for me before and geatly appreciate It. Bottom line, she provides an awesome level of care and I feel extremely fortunate to have her as my doctor.

This provider could not address my concerns. Not her fault, but further displays a larger issue with Emory. Providers continually refer patients to other departments without care coordination nor reading patients' previous chart notes to see who they've already met with. If the clinic cannot diagnosis a concern they should be transparent and just say that. Its a waste of time and resources taken from patients by just passing them off with repetitive referrals.

I was very pleased with Dr Steede. She read my chart BEFORE she came into the room. She explained test results & reviewed technical info interns we could understand without being condescending. She took time to answer all our questions. We never felt rushed. We were very happy with her.

I was very happy with my visit with Dr. Steed. She listened to me, showed concern for my problem, and shared lots of very helpful information about my condition and possible treatments. Also, her letter to my PCP was complete, accurate, and well written. I would certainly recommend her to any of my friends or family who need an infectious disease specialist.
