Deniz Peker, MD, is a professor in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School. Dr. Peker is board certified in hematopathology.

Dr. Peker received her Medical Degree from Erciyes University in Kayseri, Turkey. She completed her pathology residency at Istanbul University in Turkey, and at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida. She completed her hematopathology residency at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Peker's research interest is in the biology and microenvironment in hematologic malignancies including leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
