Dr. Vashi has been my physician for many years. He will remain so as long as possible, though I no longer live in the immediate Atlanta area (though still in Georgia).

I did a video call with Dr. Vsshi. He is an amazing individual and physician. I explained some other problems I was having with one of my legs where I couldn't lift it very well. He sent me a video and I started that that day and this is day two and the motion in my leg by doing the exercises that he sent me really loosened up the obvious problem I had.

I felt rushed. I was asked a series of questions and I'm not very good at answering questions about how I feel regarding my health with quick yes/no answers because they are nuanced. I got an antibiotic prescription, so that was good. But just saying I need to find a dentist, only to discover while I'm in the dentist's chair that they'd need a written approval from my physician before they would extract my toot. 4 days later I still have an infected painful tooth - this is less likely the doctor's issue and the inability to contact said physician with an easy way to follow up. I'm just super frustrated with an inaccessible health care system. It's like you're expected to make an appointment before you need it to be sure the situation can be dealt with. There's no reason that I should be still WAITING to get approval for a simple extraction.

He told me to stop taking a med, and Advil, as is bad on liver. After blood tests, liver enzymes showed he was right.

I appreciate that Dr Vashi listens to your questions and answers but also asks the important follow-up questions so that he fully understands the what and why for your question, but also to help the patient fully understand the response. I absolutely love Dr. Vashi -been with him for over a decade now, and I went through a few doctors before settling on him as the best choice for me. On a busy day, he can seem to be on autopilot, but when I ask him specific questions he slows down, takes time to answer them and explain what's going on. He's one of the only doctors that I've worked with who approaches things holistically, not just jumping into a bio-medical diagnosis or referring to a specialist. Instead, he'll consider a few sides of things (home life, stress, my own point of view etc.) and it does seem like he's right about pretty much everything!

Dr Vashi was interested in the activities and nutrition to help my health and wellbeing.

I've been seeing Dr. Vashi for many years. The one thing he does that bothers me is at the end of the exam he simply exits the exam room as if he's going out to fetch something, and then never returns. It's hard to know when the exam is over. In any case - it would be nice to have an exam recap to ensure understandings of the exams finding and the next steps.
