Dr Powers listens well and provides very good feedback. He doesn't ever talk "down" as some do when addressing older women - which I totally appreciate!

This was my first appointment. I was told I would hear something before the follow up which was pushed out six weeks. The only communication was via my labs and that said the labs were consistent with the condition I'd already been diagnosed with

5 out of 5 Reviewed on 2026-03-22

Dr. Forrest Powers is a superb physician, is very smart and conscientious, and clearly expressed appropriate concern for my fairly complex problem. He chose to take a little time to review all the lab results I brought, ask for clarification on certain parts of my journey/history, and explain to me his assessment and what he thought was the best way he could help me.

Dr Powers is always pleasant and easy to talk to. He showed genuine concern for my issues and did all he could to help me. Front desk and nursing staff are extremely helpful.

There was blood work done to determine if I had Rhuematoid arthritis. The provider did a basic exam no big deal and read thru my chart asking questions. Which to me that should have been done b4 I got there. I got my test results back a few days later. He reccomend for me to follow up with my spine dr and a different specialist. I email him back to inquire if he could reccomend a specialist located in Snellville. He told me he couldn't because he didn't know of any one and for me too follow up with my primary. I was complex about his answer and upset

This was my first visit to Emory Rheumatology and my provider Dr Powers was wonderful. He listened to all of my concerns and responded to them each accordingly which I appreciate tremendously

2 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-06-15

The doctor was very polite but I felt like he totally dismissed my concerns. He did not appear to take my pain seriously stating that some people just have pain. I felt gas lit and then he seemed to rush on to the next patient.

5 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-05-29

Was very concern and willing to help figure out my illness!!

4 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-05-22

Good listener, empathetic, kind person. Could maybe do a little bit better of a job of going over contraindications of the prescriptions, he gives me with all of the other meds. I'm already taking. Mostly because I am at high risk for contraindications if those details aren't paid attention to by reading my entire medication list. It's an it's a pain I know, but it has to be done. Other than that, no complaints with my provider.
