Gabriel Sica, MD, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine.
A board-certified anatomic pathologist, Dr. Sica's clinical interests lie primarily in the pathology of the lungs, pleura and mediastinum. He is especially interested in the pathology of neuroendocrine tumors of the lung such as typical carcinoids, atypical carcinoid, small cell carcinoma and large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma.
Dr. Sica earned his medical degree from Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed his internship at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island and his residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, New York. He completed his fellowship training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York City, New York.
