Dr. Lyon practices primarily transplant infectious diseases. He has a clinical and research interest in fungal infections and CMV infections, among others. After training in New England, he has a clinical interest in Lyme disease. He was a member of the Emory Team Ebola in 2014 and continues to actively conduct research on patient and healthcare worker safety in high-level biocontainment units.
