Her kind and gentle demeanor, her expansive wealth of knowledge, her genuine concern for my well-being, her patience in listening and answering my many concerns, and her pure love for what she does just couldn't have been any greater. My goodness, what an EXCELLENT first visit with my new pulmonologist!!

Dr. Oakland is amazing! She had reviewed my history before the appointment (our first time meeting) and came in ready to discuss my rare situation in a way that none of my previous care providers have done before. Her explanations were very thorough and easy for me to understand. Within two days of this appointment she had talked with my cardiologist and come up with a testing plan to confirm her diagnosis and see how we can proceed in the future with treatment. She is hands-down the best doctor I have seen at Emory in my 8 years here. She is truly an asset to Emory Healthcare.
