Dr. Hossain Is a wonderful ophthalmologist. I come from Smyrna for appointments with her. My local optometrist recommended a local ophthalmologist who is nowhere as competent and well-spoken as Dr. Hossain.
The doctor was great, understanding. Caring and very compassionate. Always include patient in the conversation. I highly recommend the care provider

My Dr was good - but whoever saw me first (a resident, fellow? Not sure bc she seemed older?) but she was dismissive. Nice, but dismissive.
Doctors listen and give their best advice. Although there are time constraints for each appointment, they don't seem rushed.

I was especially impressed that she ordered an ultrasound of my eye based upon her review of my history prior to my arrival. No Emory Opthamologist had done this prior. My previous one was 8 years ago at the Cleveland Clinic. Our discussion of symptoms, possible eye drops and previous interactions was very thorough and professional. The course of action was well understood and well thought out. When the pharmacy substituted a different med, the doctor texted me of the change. Outstanding.
My doctor and her nurses and technicians were great. Whoever manages the booking and is in charge of flow and wait time needs to reevaluate their methods.
Dr Hossain is very slow. I'm often waiting more than 20 minutes for the next step of my appointment. I like to make the early morning appointments for I'm not sitting there all day.
