I am pleased to see that Emory has someone of Dr. Peragallo's expertise for Adult Strabismus. They have several surgeons for pediatric strabismus (aka Amy Hutchinson) but it is rare that they have had someone who focuses on Adult Strabismus as the care does require a slightly different approach.

I think much of the info can't be answered at a given time because much of the healing and success of adjustments depends on my self care and how well my brain will adjust to the surgical adjustments. The following is a statement about all the Emory doctors with a follow up statement, they are in medical terms, and I would have to look up many words to know what was said. Dr. Peragallo always asks if I have questions; he has patience and kindly responds to my questions. It's now a wait and see (in the literal sense).

He is a wonderful communicator, very articulate and takes time to listen and makes sure your questions or concerns are answered before you leave so you have a better understanding.
