An otolaryngologist, Jennifer H. Gross, MD, specializes in the surgical care of patients with cancerous and non-cancerous tumors of the head and neck, with additional expertise in functional and cosmetic microvascular flap reconstruction and transoral robotic surgery. Dr. Gross received her MD degree from Emory University School of Medicine. Before attending medical school, she was awarded a national research scholarship to work at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She also interned as a public health inspector at the Beijing Centers for Disease Control, China.
Dr. Gross completed her otolaryngology residency at Washington University in St. Louis and her fellowship in head and neck oncologic surgery at the University of Miami.
Dr. Gross’s primary research focus is on outcomes after head and neck ablative and reconstructive surgery. She is especially interested in improving function, aesthetics, and quality of life after microvascular flap reconstruction.
