One of the main reasons I continue to use Emory Healthcare for primary care services. Unfortunately I can't say the same for specialty services. Since patients are charged for physician and hospital fees, I'll be leaving my longtime (20+ years) rheumatologist, Dr. Waltuck, due to the ridiculous hospital charges. I'm sure this is a problem for many other patients as well. Patients are fine paying physician fees but th enormous hospital charges that insurance companies don't cover very much are now the responsibility of the patients who just had a 10-15 min follow up visit. Emory should be ashamed of themselves.
