Provider too hard to communicate with. Apparently does not check for messages sent on My Chart or messages left at front desk of office.
I asked Jessica PA date of my last visit. She told me told me 2024. Once I corrected her, she said "oh right 2025". No concern, like she could care less about our conversation. Like a robot. I am a physician so in healthcare myself. I would never speak to a patient like this.
Very good replacement for my regular physician
Jessica did an excellent job of listening and providing appropriate care.
Very pleased at friendly staff and very pleased with attentiveness of staff. I felt the doctor (Broaders) really listened to my concerns as well as delivering hers.
Dr Broderick is always patient, kind and very thorough. Always explaining treatment options following up with past and future referrals involving my health and care.
Went through all steps to make my situation and assured me she would follow up
Explained everything that I had concerns about.
Jessica was a good listener and I felt in good hands.
Jessica was very thorough in taking a history, asked about appropriate screenings and discussed scheduling what was needed, and was very knowledgeable and patient-centered in discussing treatment options and decisions.
Not as helpful nor receiving the information I was sharing
Everyone made me feel welcome and confident.
It was among the worst med experiences I've had. 8 minutes late with no apology to a 20 minute virtual appt , no offer of any info only kept asking what questions I had. Very little info or info confusing. Affect of B was super flat, never tried to establish eye contact, never smiled.
Very thorough. All concern and questions addressed.
Helped with everything I needed
Dr. Jessica was wonderful
She was patient and answered all of my questions and concerned
Not sure what happened to the culture for urine which they said will be sent not sure
Dr Broderick is very efficient and gives excellent care and support. Answers all questions and gives next steps with labs and testing. Appreciate her dedication very much much.
I felt dismissed and not heard.
The service and care has been remarkable
Was thorough with everything!
Jessica treated me cordially and professionally. Very thorough!
Very caring, knowledgeable and comprehensive in care.
Professional, gentle and respectful. Great communication
Nothing re: my condition was explained or elaborated; I had to press for explanations or other options
Jessica and team were great!
I didn't feel a lot of concerns or care there.A few questions but basically we will just wait on the lab results. The questions I had about forgetfulness and weight gain was really addressed.
I will tell all my family and friends about Emory.
The assistant was perfectly fine. She was hospitable and kind. The Physician's Assistant Jessica Broderick was not the same. I do not Intend to Inflict negative ramifications from this review, this is an opportunity for gentle correction to Improve future services. Her bedside manner was nonexistent. I came In to conduct a few tests and from the moment she walked In the room, she had a disagreeable countenance. She seemed as If she desired to be elsewhere. I asked her why I had to relay everything I just told the nurse again (I am supposed to be on vocal rest so speaking Is quite straining). She responded that the notes weren't there (for whatever reason) and I had to give them again. I acquiesced. I then asked If the Doctor would be seeing me (as I was told he would be In shortly from the nurse). She cut me off mid sentence and said "I'll be seeing you Im the P.A. Without even looking up from her typing. She then waved her hand dismissively and told me to sit on the bed. At that moment I told her I was uncomfortable. I am not okay with having someone who is inhospitable checking my health. When someone is unwell, they come to the hospital for care, not to be met with indifference. Once she left the room, swinging the door wide open, she went to her coordinator. The coordinator came in and listened to what I relayed. She then responded "usually if someone just has a sore throat" we send the P.A. As the Doctor's are tied up. I have no problem with seeing a P.A., what I have a problem with is a medical professional who is discourteous in providing care. Once the coordinator returned with my test results, she then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to see the P.A. Again as if what I relayed to her previously didn't matter at all. I told her no and that I would reach out to my PCP. This was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had at a hospital and very unusual for a hospital at the caliber of Emory. No one wants to go to the hospital and when they do, they don't want to be met with a lack of care. I was not tended to properly by anyone but the nurse and I would never return to that Emory location. Please train your staff better. We are all going through something personally or professionally and you should compartmentalize and show more care when you are with patients.
Not one bad thing occurred
Incredibly professional, thorough, yet warm and caring.
Seen at my appointment time
Jessica asked questions I've never been asked by a medical professional. I was impressed with how comprehensive the medical history was.
Her voice was very soft and at times I had trouble hearing her. I would have given her a better score if I could have understood her better.
Like everyone else there, Ms Broderick was super sweet as well as knowledgeable. She took her time and did not make me feel rushed. Very glad she's my provider.
I was very comfortable doing my appointment while I was there
Excellent care provided - respectful, attentive, all of the above :)
Very personable and thorough.
