Katrina Bell is a dedicated family nurse practitioner with a distinguished background as a U.S. Military Veteran. Katrina grew up in St. Louis, MO, where she earned her undergraduate degree from Deaconess College of Nursing in 1995. She worked as a registered nurse in a variety of settings for 20 years before deciding to return to school to obtain her master’s degree in nursing. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2018. She is licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing and holds a certification from The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
As a family nurse practitioner, Katrina treats patients across the lifespan. She has delivered comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and urgent care. Her experience also includes working in community health centers, where she has focused on underserved populations, providing essential healthcare services and health education. She has participated in mentoring newly hired nurse practitioners and served as a visiting associate professor at Chamberlain College of Nursing.
In addition to her professional commitments, Katrina actively volunteers in her community, participating in local walks for organizations such as the American Heart Association and breast cancer awareness. When not working, Katrina enjoys outdoor activities, live performances, and spending time with friends and family. She is married with one daughter.
Katrina brings empathy, patience, and an easy-going communication style to her care, making it easy for patients and their family members to talk to her. She believes in a holistic approach, educating patients on their options, and empowering them to take charge of their health and well-being. She is excited to be a part of the primary care team at Emory at Eagles Landing.
