Dr. Thelan is a true professional who puts you at ease immediately. She takes her time with you during the appointment and you never feel rushed

Dr. Thelan (and other eye drs there) do not spend enough time in the room on the annual visits. It is usually between 7-9 minutes. Do the Emory doctors have a limit to the time they are allowed to spend with us? After driving, parking, sitting - can we not have 1/2 hour per visit???

Dr. Seemed in a rush. Did not discuss my condition at length and recommended an otc drop that I can't remember now.

My vision problems still have not been properly addressed. The PA did not inform me of challenges with the contact lenses provided--I discovered those from an online search. I do not want to see this provider again as the same issue occurred last year.

Dr. Kristen Thelen was excellent in her discussion of my issue. She clearly understood and explained the status of my post-cataract surgery and how the current state of my eye (I have a glass eye) is in excellent condition. Dr. Thelen communicated in a way that made me confident that Emory Eye Clinic was taking care of me in the best way possible.

This was my first visit with Dr Thelan and I thought she was excellent in the care she provided. I will definitely use her again and have already scheduled my next appointment.

I like Dr. Thelen. But for a visit where you are given the first diagnosis of glaucoma, things seemed rushed. Not a big personal problem for me, as I saw the notation of ocular hypertension from the prior visit and had researched it. I think many patients may have been frustrated. IMPORTANTLY, see my early comment about the wait/crowd at the clinic... It appeared overbooked on this day, and they were running way behind.

Dr. Thelan was very busy based on the clinic overall, but when she came in the room she was completely engaged, attentive, kind and focused. Dr. Thelen was very professional and kind. She had a lot of patients to get through that day and it seemed as though there were just too many appointments to get through with the time and thoroughness she wanted to give each person. She did it, but just so many patients crammed into one day. Doesn't seem fair to her.
