Laura Dean is one of the best for sure. She was very detailed in her explanations of the surgery and what was going to happen. I could not have received any better care. She is wonderful!!!

She had a very busy day. Other patients were critical, my situation was not. Also..end of the day..everyone gets tired. The beginning of the visit, when I was asked to change rooms..she was very nice. As visit progressed..my verbal input was not desired. She was trying to finish the scan and my anxiety and feelings were problematic.
Laura took her time, answered all my questions and truly helped me feel comfortable with the plan moving forward. Cancer is never easy yet she is compassionate and caring.

My PA Laura Dean was fantastic -- she explained everything as she went along and I was grateful for that information. Plus she has a warm, nurturing personality and made me feel very comfortable. She also had to work me into her schedule as I had a long delay finding the right location within Emory Midtown campus -- so she was very nice to do that for me (would have been worse if I had had to reschedule and come back).

PA Dean is rather brusque and didn't provide much information about the potential side effects of the biopsy. I experienced significant discomfort after the biopsy, which was a surprise because she didn't explain that might be the case.
